When We Are Closed

If you need to see a doctor or ask for some medical advice when the surgery is closed please dial 111. A trained operator will take details, make an assessment, give advice and direct you to the local service appropriate for your needs. This could be:

  • An out-of-hours doctor
  • A community nurse
  • A Walk-in or Urgent Care facility such as Bransholme Health Centre or the Freedom Centre
  • A late-opening pharmacy
  • An emergency dentist

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
