NHS Hull employs health visitors, district nurses and community nurses who support East Hull Family Practice.

The practice trains General Practice Registrars and medical students from the Hull York Medical School. Trainees will only be present during a consultation if the patient gives informed consent.

East Hull Family Practice Practice hope that by providing training for GP Registrars and medical students the practice can contribute to increasing the number of doctors who will practice in Hull in the future.

Dr Islam trains medical students from HYMS.

Dr Islam has a special interest in Medico Legal Medicine.

Dr Bobby Bikram Hamal (m)

MBChB, MRCGP, PGCME, FHEA, DPD, DRCOG First Registered Leeds 1995

GP trainer/Senior lecturer HYMS

Dr Hamal is a GP trainer and is responsible for training qualified doctors to become General Practitioners. He teaches  foundation year 2 doctors who do a 4 month placement at the practice. He is also a tutor for HYMS (Hull and York Medical School) and teaches medical students.

Dr Hamal has a special interest in Dermatology.

Dr Majid Abdulla (m)

MBBS, MRCGP, DFSRH, PGCME, FHEA,

GP Trainer/Senior Lecturer HYMS 

Dr Abdulla is a GP trainer who is responsible for training qualified doctors to become General Practitioners. He is also a tutor for HYMS (Hull and York Medical School) and teaches medical students.

Dr Abdulla has a special interest in Children's Health and patients with Mental Health Problems.

Dr Qureshi helps train Foundation doctors and medical students from the Hull York Medical School.
